Sofia's Arrival

Hello Everyone,
We are home now and Sofia and the rest of us are adjusting to a new way of life. This experience has been an incredible one. This is our miracle baby, we are blessed to have been given this chance in life to bring a life in this world.
There will be many more pictures as the weeks goby, here are but a few to introduce our precious Sofia!

Waiting with some anxiety, the OR team was great!

Isabel's Alphabet

As we're all waiting for pictures of Sofia....

We finally got Isabel on camera doing the alphabet. She knows all the letters in sign language and is pretty good at doing the signs herself and knows most of the written symbols but sometimes needs help. (well there are about 50 symbols if you count upper and lower case) :)
She loves to say "W".. "duduyu" so she often skips "u" and "v" once she sees the "t". ha... And for some reason she whispers other letters like "f" and "s".... "q" is cute too.
Pretty proud and amazed papa (or "deedaa") and mama ...She's only 21 months...

As you can all see Tim is going through sympathy pregnancy with me. The picture is a little to much exposure but we thought you would get a chuckle!!!

.

The the kids had a great Christmas and both are ready to play ice hockey on our lake now that they both have skates.

Delia now attends Sacred Heart and although smiling in this picture, she is still getting used to the uniform idea. The last time she wore a dress was in 2005 at our wedding.
As you can see Andrew is finding himself, he reassures us once he knows what he is we will be advised!! Both Delia and Andrew are doing well and growing like weeds. They both take size 10 shoes, flippers indeed.

Hello Everyone

It is midnight in Halifax and I finally figured out how to post pictures. Thank you Mike for your input. We've had computer problems and unable to participate in this wonderful family blog. We have so much to say but I won't go on and on. First and foremost Merry Christmas and Happy Hannuka!!

In the pictures we are in Portugal in front of Lady of Fatima and in the other picture is in Porto where Tim indulged in fabulous Port.

Great pictures Jeff and Sue. Looks like Matthew has some rhythm.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Sue's new hat, scarf and boots

A message from Sadie....Matthew loves music and bops to anything with a beat.

Lots of fun at our house this morning. Sadie insisted she open everyone's gifts and got started while mom and dad weren't looking. Matthew enjoyed the wrapping paper most and got in on the fun by ripping gifts out of Sadie's hand when she got close enough to him.

While you've been swimming in Texas, we've been shoveling in Halifax!

Matthew has learned to drink from a sippy cup. Poor kids have been sick with croup this week. Sadie is on the mend but I think Matthew has another 2 sleepless nights to go.

Believe or not these were taken last weekend. The pool temperature was 68F, not too bad for December. Yup, only the kids got in.

Sadie going to school

Here's Sadie, 3 going on 13. You might have to listen twice to hear what she says to me.
