Hi. Here's a few photos of little Charlie. It was a whirlwind birth with Debby's first contraction at 4am and him being born at 6:54 am after only 11 minutes of pushing. Luckily we left for the hospital when we did as we were only there about 3/4 an hour before he was born.

He's healthy, alert and feeding well and weighed in at a hefty 9lbs.2oz. I think Isabel is wondering what's going on but she's going to be a great big sister.

Isn't it amazing what the human body can do? Hang in there Debby, looks like you're ready to go! Looks like a boy to me.....

Well this is probably our last post before the new baby arrives. We took Isabel to the lake and it was too cold so we set up a little pool on the deck. She could spend 5 hours in that thing...
Here's some photos of Isabel hugging and kissing her new brother/sister and not a great shot of Debby but you can see that that's quite a belly. That was a few days ago.. less than two weeks to go but we're thinking this one is going to come a little sooner. Debby thinks the baby has dropped down a bit so it won't be long now.
Hopefully Mum makes it here in time.....

We approaching 2 weeks in the new place and it's starting to look like a home. Most of the boxes are unpacked and the mess is contained. We're slowly starting to feel more at home though I think it's still all a little unreal.
Isabel is having a bit of tough time adjusting particularly having spent 3 weeks at Debby's parents' place before here but she's adapting. There's lots that has been done and lots more to do. Here's some photos of the front of the house and the front "yard". The last two are the path from the front walk to that leads to the front fence and gate and the last one is the view down the driveway from the front gate. You can just see the house through the trees. It's really beautiful but also quite wild.
